A civil initiative to fight poverty in South Africa by empowering able but financially needy young people with opportunities for further education.

Studietrust - since 1974 - is an independent national bursary agency, a non-profit civil organisation, based on Christian principles. We have a single focus: the financially needy child and young person who, in the hope of a better future, urgently want to continue studying.

Studietrust’s support to young people touches their lives deeply turning desperation into hope. We select students who, under threat of poverty, simply ask for the opportunity to study.

A VENTURE OF HOPE... South Africa has become a symbol of hope to many in the African continent as well as the rest of the world. Study Trust assists disadvantaged young South Africans to press on in hope. We warmly invite you to acquaint yourself with our work and to consider joining us in this venture of hope.

Please submit your 2011 bursary application form on or before 30 September 2010 to Studietrust, PO Box 29192, MELVILLE 2109.
